I turn raw data into useful applications and data meaningful sets. All i need is an idea.
I’m Mert. I build news platforms and desktop tools with Python, and gameplay systems with Lua. Explore the projects, the problems they solve and the interfaces behind them.

Project Visuals
I'm Mert and I build immersive systems, clean interfaces and smart digital tools.
I am a fourth-year Management Information Systems student focused on QBCore/FiveM systems, modern web interfaces, dashboards, data processing systems, databases and data visualization tools.
From idea to working application.
News, daily habits, databases and data analysis. Four projects built around practical problems.
SIGNAL
A clearer view of the news. SIGNAL gathers stories through APIs and RSS, filters unnecessary headlines and brings multiple sources into one place. Its Python backend supports user accounts and persistent reading data.
- News from multiple sources
- Category, source and date filters
- Saved stories and reading status
Su Cini
A desktop companion that helps make drinking water a habit. Built with Python and PyQt, it remembers water intake and snooze history in a local database and adapts its reminders.
- Daily goals and glass size
- Water intake and snooze history
- Interactive desktop companion
DVT — Database Virtual Tool
A local tool for exploring SQLite databases visually. Open a database file to map its tables and relationships, inspect column details and export the schema as JSON.
- Open local SQLite database files
- Visual table and relationship maps
- Column types and key details
- Table and column search
- Schema and related-table filters
- Fit the schema map to the view
- Export schema information as JSON
Corporate B.I. Data Dashboard
A Python desktop dashboard for organizing and analyzing category-based data. Explore pie, bar and time-series charts, follow summary indicators, manage records and export results to Excel.
- Pie, bar and time-series charts
- Category-based filtering
- Total, record count and maximum indicators
- Add and delete data records
- Timestamped record list
- Persistent SQLite data storage
- Excel export

A Map Making Tool I Used For My own FRP Projects
AdvancedHow I Approach My Projects
I design my projects as scalable systems with clear requirements, optimized logic, usable interfaces and room for future expansion.
Analyzing the Needs
I define what the system should do, which functions it needs, how users will interact with it and which parts must be optimized from the start.
Designing the System UI
I create a clean visual structure with reusable and good-looking components, clear hierarchy and responsive behavior.
AI-Assisted Ideation
I use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to explore better ideas, refine designs and improve the build process.
Building the Core Elements
I implement the core logic, UI states, database structure and integration points.
Polishing the Whole System
I refine and try new animations, look upon the edge cases, check the performance and final presentation details.
Portfolio terminal
This is my little toy out there, just give it a try :)
